  1. These recipes also fueled the humans behind the Google machine in its early, wildly successful years. They’re worth trying if you believe you are what you eat, and you would desperately like to become a Googlite.

Google do appear a very trustworthy and reputable company, so I see what you mean. Do you think that Google rely on Googlites to use things like Google Docs which they make money from?

“never heard of this Googlite” – probably as I just invented the term πŸ˜‰

You heard it here first people, Christopher Roberts invented the term Googlite!

  2. I’d have to say that I am a Googlelite Christopher, although I didn’t ever think I was to be honest. Google has loads of technology and software available for webmasters and I just use them accordingly (Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Adsense, Google Buzz etc.)

  3. There’s a reason i use a lot of Google products, and that’s because they’re the best (in most cases). What i like about Google is that it provides simple yet effective programs.
When i got online for the first time, around 10 years ago, i used yahoo for some strange reason, i think it came with IE6 those days. Since i didn’t even know what a search engine was, the only reason i changed from Yahoo to Google is because the latter had a white and clear screen, free of ads and all sorts of useless information. Just a search box in the middle, exactly what i needed.

  4. There is a large market for paid back-linking….my small google PR3 site can generate about 3-500 a month for paid backlinking posts….anyone interested can PM and ill show you how.

  5. I wouldn’t really say I’m a googleite even though I use a lot of google’s products and services. When I try to find the best available online service for a particular task, Google usually emerges as the answer. But that doesn’t mean I’m ignorant about alternatives of google’s services. For example, I use wordpress and not blogger, simply because its better.

Googlites aren’t necessarily ignorant, they just prefer to use Google products.

  6. I am definitely a Googlite!! I love Google and all of its products. The moment Chrome launched in September 2008 I downloaded straight away and fell in love! Over the past year I have become heavily involved with Googles- Blogger and ADsense. I am a heavy user of Youtube as well and have only just joined Google+ and have ste up my profile!!!

      Sounds great πŸ™‚

Let us know if Google+ lives up to your expectations too, you could even do an article, now that you are an ‘insider’ on the Google+ project πŸ™‚

  7. Well, I just realized that I am a Googllite. Gmail and Google Talk are just some of the Google products I use aside from their search engine. I haven’t been convinced to switch from Facebook, though. A lot of my friends are using it so I pretty much don’t have any choice but to stay with Facebook as well. I guess when they start to switch to Google plus,, then I’ll sure join the bandwagon.

  8. I am definitely a Googlite!

    How couldn’t I be?

If you don’t have a Google account you are simply so restricted when it comes to other useful products and programs of G.

If you are in online marketing, you just cannot NOT be a Googlite.

    Nice term btw.

    J

  9. Hi Christopher. Well, a person that is promoting websites with products and services or just information will most likely need to use google adsense, google analytics, register some blogger free blogs, set plenty of Google alerts, monitor statistics from Google Webmaster Tools, advertise likely on Google Adwords, create a personal and a business profile on Google Plus network and so on. All these require us to have and be very familiar with most of Google products. So I guess that makes us all “Googlites”.

I see what you mean Jack, you may well be a Googlite, so may I, but not everyone designs and runs websites and SEO campaigns Jack, hence not everyone is a Googlite πŸ™‚

Thanks for the comment, welcome to the blog!
