Lazy Load is great tool indeed, not because I’ve used it but I’ve experienced it. And since you’ve mentioned about it on your website, I felt the same on technology bloggers as well. Nice loading of image and page while maintaining the load time and eventually improving the user experience.

Hi Christa, I am glad you feel our delayed loading images help the page load faster. What about our social buttons? Do you ever share our content, and if so, are the new buttons helpful?

First time I have heard about LazyLoad. Definitely going to try that one out. Will check out ways to lazy load social sharing icons as well :) .

What is the load time of a good site? My blog is like 3 or 4 secs. What do you think is it good or bad.

      Hi Kamran,

It is an interesting question. Part of the load time will be down to the host, so you need to make sure you have a speedy one! A server response time of under 500ms (1/2 a second) is ideal. Overall if your site loads in under two seconds, I think you can be pretty pleased. There is a lot you can do at the front end (especially with content management systems like WordPress) however there is only so far you can go with a slow server.

I hope this gives you some sort of idea Kamran :-)

Thanks for the question, welcome to Technology Bloggers!
